mainstream vs. grassroots

I had a strange epiphany today.  I'm usually quite wordy on these posts ("Run On Sentience" blog, anyone?) but this time I will be brief.  I don't have this entirely worked out yet.  But it feels super relevant and sourceful to me.

Maybe the grassroots upstarts (youth, rebellion, radical thinking, challenging the status quo, re-establishing rule by the people (not the rich oligarchs) maybe the grassroots is in fact the mainstream. Not just in that way that we think "power to the people" overthrowing dictators and political power.  But in the way that we each, and all together, think of the theories and outcomes that make such a result possible.

I mean, we look at the map for an election and ask ourselves "why are all of the states red?"  Maybe it is because the red ones are the first to speak out, first to show up, because they are so easily sure of themselves.  And maybe that is the primary poison.  It is the blue ones that self-examine, that are uncertain and more comfortable exploring the mystery.  That like "vote for the third party" etc. (Much to the disturbance of a reigning liberal administration) but perhaps the unilateral leadership is not the seat of power.

And we are, in fact, the mainstream.  And power will come from many small upstarts.  In fact, already is!  And the grassroots, the underground, will come to light.  And we will realize the sovereignty of independence, of indie efforts. Of unique, incomparable, uncategorized behavior.  Liberal: free of confining mass influence.  Free, unique, and divergent. (Trying this term out.  It is like "neurodivergent" but not just talking about the spectrum of identity/personality but the rebellion against all kinds of constructs.) Normative culture is oppressive to all of us. Whether we realize it or not. Because we are all human and have: (get this) TRANS-HUMAN potential.

That's maybe a nod to the robots.  Integrating and making super SAFE the robot revolution. More on this later!!!
